One record per audit: scope, checklist, findings, and sign-off in one place, with a corrective action created straight from a finding β no separate form and no re-typing what the finding already said.
Planning an audit
Click "+ Add New" above the register.
Fill in Standard, Department/Area, Audit Type, Planned Date, Lead Auditor, Audit Team, and Auditee(s).
Write the Scope & Objectives.
Build the Checklist: one row per clause/criterion, each scored Conform, Nonconformity, Observation, or N/A with supporting evidence.
Add signers for sign-off, in order, in the sidebar.
Checklist & findings
Findings are separate from checklist rows β use them to record an actual nonconformity, classified as Major NC, Minor NC, Observation, or OFI (Opportunity for Improvement), with a description of what was found and the standard clause it violates.
Corrective actions
Every finding row has a small icon to open its Corrective Action Report directly β it already knows which audit and which finding it belongs to. Root cause, corrective action, a due date, and a follow-up log all live on that one record, with its status (Open, In Progress, Closed, Verified Effective) computed automatically and flagged Overdue the moment its due date passes. A dedicated CAR Register lists every corrective action across every audit, site-wide.
Sign-off
Signers sign in the order they were added β typically Lead Auditor first, then Auditee acknowledgment β and each is emailed a personal signing link automatically once it becomes their turn.
Using the register
The KPI strip at the top shows Total, In Progress, and Overdue audits at a glance, based on your current filters.
Filter, sort, and choose rows per page; "Columns" lets you show or hide any column (remembered on this device).
"Export CSV" downloads exactly what your current filters show.
The π and β icons open a quick view/edit popup without leaving the register.
